I enjoy tinkering with home servers and currently run a small NUC setup with Proxmox, Linux containers, AI, Docker, and observability tools. It is a good balance when most of my professional life is in cloud architecture.
I am an avid hobby photographer and shoot mainly for my own sake. I started photography in 2016 when I bought a Sony A6000 after failing to get a decent image with my phone at my daughter's national cheerleading competition. A month later she quit cheerleading, so I had to figure out what to do with the camera. After about a year I moved to Fujifilm and have loved the analogue controls and colors ever since. And i also use my DJI Mini Pro 5, for some other angles :)
And that is why this blog of a mix of tech & photo, probably not good for SEO, but hey who cares :)

In the last year I also started shooting analog film. I love the slower pace of film photography, where everything is deliberate and expensive. I have accumulated a fair number of analog cameras in both 35mm and medium format, and they will definitely show up on this blog.
