Last week a whale was beached in the norther part of Denmark was beached, i Ålbæk, a very small town that you usually only hear about in the summer part of the year. It was a sperm whale. The Danish term is a “Kaskelot Hval” so no where close :).

But this was the first time in 16 years that a whale has beached, and those whales are pretty rare to see in Denmark. So me and my friend Bogdan had to go actually see it and bring our cameras, cause it would be dragged away for autopsy the next day. Lets just say, we were not the only ones.

But here a week after, and the autopsy is done, its a pretty sad story. It choked on fishing nets ;(. Our first whale in 16 years, and it dies due to us polluting the ocean.

I’m glad we paid tribute by going to the beach that day in freezing temperatures. Rest in peace my dear whale.
